Kabaddi meet postponed
Our Correspondent

Ludhiana, January 31
The 6th International Lodhi Kabaddi Cup Tournament that was to begin at the Guru Nanak Stadium here yesterday was called off due to rain. A large number of spectators from all over the state had converged here to witness kabaddi matches but the weather played havoc and they had to return disappointed. Earlier, an exhibition match between Punjab and Haryana women was organised, but that too, had to be stopped midway due to rain.

The organisers were forced to postpone the tournament as it was not possible to conduct matches on the slippery ground. Mr Beant Singh Dhaliwal, president of the Lodhi Kabaddi Club, said the tournament would now be held on February 6 at the same venue.
