Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum tempratures rose in east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably below normal in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Haryana, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 1.9°C recorded in Ludhiana (Punjab) and Pilani (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until January 20th: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Low temperature warning: Ground frost is likely to occur at a few places in Haryana and Punjab during the next two nights.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until January 20: Partly cloudy sky. Fog till forenoon. Minimum temperature will be around 7°C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until January 20: Sky will be partly cloudy.
