farms sanctioned New Delhi, January 14 The finance department of the Delhi Government has so far issued three installments for the development of the villages in the Capital and the fourth installment will be sanctioned in February, he said. While delivering the budget speech in the corporation, Mr Ram Babu Sharma said that estimated budget of 2003-2004 would be tax-free. The corporation has collected Rs 485.80 crore this year while last year, it collected only Rs 404.90 crore. The Unit Area System (UAS) for property tax collection will be implemented in April. |

complex to get water connection New Delhi, January 14 Mr Ram Bhaj, MLA and Vice-Chairperson, NDMC, started the work of providing connections in the morning on Monday in a simple function organised by the Sudhar Samiti of the complex. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ram Bhaj said that the civic body had already provided temporary electricity connection to the residents of the complex and now the water supply connection would be provided subject to deposit of 70 per cent of the estimated cost. Of 192 dwelling units, only 52 have applied for water connection along with the estimated cost. Mr Ram Bhaj said that the improvement of the colony has been done from the MLA fund. |
