Fellowship for Dr Saggar

Ludhiana, January 14
Dr R.R. Saggar, Senior Consultant, Department of Orthopaedics, Mohan Dai Oswal Cancer Hospital, will be going on fellowship in orthopaedic oncology (bone and joint cancer) to Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham, UK, from January 20. He will work with Prof Simon Carter.

Recently, Dr Saggar presented his work on bone cancer at the Asia Pacific Musculoskeletal Tumor Society Conference held in Chennai. He also chaired a session at the International Symposium on Bone Tumors held at the AIIMS in New Delhi. OC

Cassette released

Ludhiana, January 14
‘Nach ke jee parchauna’, an audio cassette of renowned Punjabi singer Sarabjeet Manget was released at Punjabi Bhavan today.

The function was attended by officials of the TPM Company and Mr Surinder Bachan, music director of eight songs in the cassette. Mr Devinder Singh Chinna one of the promotors of Punjabi culture, said the songs depicted the true Punjabi traditions and culture.
