Scores: Alpine Club: 118 all out in 38 overs (S Nitin 25, Ashish Sethi 21, P K Soni 3 for 22, Gajender Kumar 3 for 32). LIC: 121 for 4 in 28 overs (Raghubir 30 n o, P K Soni 27, Dipesh Kumar 25).

Chandni Chowk Gymkhana defeated Indo Club by three runs in another B Division match, at Kotla II ground.

Scores: Chandni Chowk Gymkhana: 265 all out in 39.5 overs (Rajesh Puri 63, Puran Singh 56, Rahul Puri 38, Sudhir Kumar 35, Rahul Kumar 4 for 37).

Indo Club: 262 all out in 40 overs (Prahlad Kumar 82, Rahul Kumar 53, Rajeev Kumar 33, Amit Tomar 3 for 44, Rajeev Kumar 2 for 56).

K G Colts beat Vipul Sarees by eight wickets in a B Division match at the Ramjas Sports Complex ground.

Bhai Joga Singh girls win in volleyball

New Delhi, November 26
Bhai Joga Singh school decimated Bloom Public School 25-1, 25-5, 25-6 in a girls match of the sixth Salwan Inter-School Volleyball Tournament at the Salwan School court in Delhi.

Sixteen teams from various schools of Delhi are participating in the tournament, which was inaugurated by Salwan School principal Vandana Puri.

In other girls’ matches, Government School, Rohini beat hosts Salwan Public School (afternoon) and Government School, Vijay Enclave beat Salwan Public School (morning) 27-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-17).

In the boys section, New Era Public School beat Salwan Boys 22-25, 25-16, 25-20 and Army Public School beat J D Tytler Public School 25-23, 25-19, 25-15.

Scores: Coca-Cola: 197 for 8 in 25 overs (Royal Rajput 39, 21b, 4x7; Rahul Sharma 38, 37b, 4x5; Ranjit Khari 34, 26b; Vineet Narang 2 for 52). FCS Software Ltd: 154 all out in 24.5 overs (Pranab Bhalla 84, 77b, 4x11; Rahul Sharma 4 for 32, Vivek Palta 2 for 32). Rahul Sharma was adjudged the Man of the Match.

SPBRG-AAI win

SPBRG-AAI defeated Hewlett Packard by six wickets in a league match of the second Eventus Cup Cricket Tournament at the Palam ground.

Ganga School, helped by searing bowling spells by Viram Singh (3 for 18) and Sagar (2 for 11), beat Sachdeva Public School, Rohini by nine wickets and entered the semi-final of the second Ganga School Under-17 Inter-School Cricket Tournament at the Ganga School ground. Vikram Singh was adjudged the Man of the Match.

Scores: Sachdeva School: 91 all out in 29 overs (Praveen Kumar 29, Sagar Dhaya 22, Sagar 2 for 11, Vikram Singh 3 for 18, Parth Ranam 2 for 12).

Ganga School: 92 for 1 in 21.2 overs (Mohender Singh 28, Mohit Joon 33 n o, Govind 27).

Khazan stars

An unbeaten knock of 75 by Khazan Singh helped Hero Honda beat Adidas by
155 runs in the sixth D G Phadkar Memorial Cricket Tournament at the
Teri Oval.

Khazan Singh was adjudged the Man of the Match.

A solid knock of 86, studded with ten fours and five sixes, by Swaran Singh enabled Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) beat Maharaja Ranjit Singhji Cricket Academy by five wickets and entered the semi-final of the Sunday League Cricket Tournament played at the Guru Harkrishnan Public School groud, Vasant Vihar.

Scores: Maharaja Ranjit Singhji Academy: 191 for 4 in 30 overs (Naveen Mehtawat 84, Sachin 32, Manpreet Singh 2 for 31).

Ajay scores hattrick

New Delhi, November 26
Ajay Kumar Singh scored four goals, including a hattrick, to star in UP Sports Hostel, Lucknow’s thumping 11-0 victory against Sh. Gattu Vidhyalaya, Gujarat in a Group III league match of the Subroto Cup Football Tournament at the Ambedkar Stadium on Tuesday.

Vikram (three goals, no hattrick), Prasanth, Chanda, Rohat and Gurudayal were the other marksmen. Lucknow entered the quarter-final with this victory.

St. Xavier’s School, Ambikapur (Chattisgarh) edged pat Choppasi High School, Jodhpur (Rajasthan 3-2) in another Group III match. Cornelius Tigga scored all the three goals for Ambikapur while Kheev Singh scored a brace for Jodhpur.

In Group IV matches, AP Sports School, Hakimpet, Andhra Pradesh, defeated Sainik School, Imphal 2-0 and St. John Bosco School, Sohra (Meghalaya) defeated Saini Senior Secondary School, Rewari (Haryana) 2-1. Captain S K Jaheer scored both the goals for the Andhra team. Manish Yadav put Haryana in the lead, but Dangeitlang Siangshi converted a penalty kick to get the equaliser for Meghalaya. OSR

Sahal Stud win

Royal Kashmir-Sahal Stud beat Kinnarps by 11 goals to seven and McDowells’s Signature beat IMA-Thunderbolt by 10 goals to seven in the Maharaja Hari Singh Memorial Cup Polo Tournament (14 goals) at the Jaipur Polo ground on Tuesday.

H Mazzini scored eight goals and Vikramaditya Singh, Oliver Taylore and Satinder Garch one goal each for the winners. Manupal Godara (fours goals), Philip Elliott, Bhawani Singh Kavli and Kristian Petersson scored one goal each for Kinnarps. OSR

MCD officers nominated to provide information

The Government of NCT of Delhi has nominated senior officers of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi to provide information under the Delhi Right to Information Act. Additional Commissioner (slum and JJ) has been nominated to the matters pertaining to Slum and JJ Department.

Additional Commissioner (Engineering) has been nominated for matters relating to Central Establishment Department, Additional Commissioner (Revenue) for matters relating to Land and Estate Department, Factory Licensing Department, Remunerative Project Cell, Toll Tax Department, Advertisement Department.

Engineer in-Chief has been nominated in respect to matters relating to Engineering Department, Municipal Health Officer for matters relating to Health Department, Director, Primary Education, for matters relating to Education Department, Director (CSE) in respect of matters relating to Sanitation Department, Assessor and Collector in respect to matters relating to Property Tax Department, Chief Law Officer for matters relating to Law Department, Director (Horticulture) for matters relating to Horticulture Department, Chief Accountant for matters relating to the Finance Department. Similarly, the Chief Town Planner and the Chief Architect has been nominated in respect of Town Planning and Architecture Departments respectively.

All Deputy Commissioners of 12 Zones of MCD have been nominated as competent authorities for matters relating to their respective zones.

Similarly, Additional Commissioner (Head Quarter) has been nominated in respect of matters relating to Labour Welfare Department, Community Services Department and issues other than those covered by above competent authorities.

The citizens are hereby advised to approach the concerned Deputy Commissioners or above-mentioned competent authorities for various information under the Delhi Right to Information Act pertaining to their respective areas, a release said.
