New Delhi, October 4
It is an exhibition with a difference. Apeejay Media Gallery showcases, ‘Life in the Time of Cholera’, an exhibition with four well-know installation artists who have used video, Internet and performance elements in their work. The artists make strong comments on the growing commercialisation of urban lifestyle and its serious socio-economic consequences. The exhibition is scheduled for three days from October 4-6 and is open for the public from 6.30-8.30 p.m.

The exhibition will display the works of Sheba Chhachhi with her creation ‘Neelkanth,’ Navjyot Altaf’s ‘Between Memory and History’, Shakuntala Kulkarni’s ‘Reduced Spaces,’ and Shilpa Gupta’s ‘Diamond and you.com.’ Pooja Sood, an independent curator and art manger based in the Capital, is incharge of the exhibition.

The Apeejay Gallery is among the first to focus on this new media in keeping with the international trend. Priti Paul, director, Apeejay Surrendra Group, said, “The gallery has been specially created to showcase and recognise this new media in keeping with the international trend.”
