Panchkula GH to be opened in Oct Panchkula, September 29 The Union Health Minister, Mr Shatrughan Sinha is being approached for its inauguration. This was stated by Dr M.L. Ranga, State Health Minister, here today. He was speaking after the prize distribution function of the State Lawn Tennis Championship. He said he would meet Mr Sinha in Chandigarh
tomorrow to request him for giving an early date for the inauguration. It may be noted that this 100-bed building has been constructed at a cost of Rs 4 crore by the Haryana Urban Development Authority and the state government. A similar amount has been spent on creating infrastructure in this hospital. |

Rain disappoints big-screen buffs Chandigarh, September 29 The local Kiran Theatre had made arrangements for the screening of the final. Many hotels and restaurants with provision of large-sized screen had also made arrangements for the screening of the match. According to the theatre management, the company had booked all four shows from 12 noon till the last show for the match. But the select crowd got disappointed when the match was abandoned. |
