Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at many places in Haryana, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Tajewala 13, Rewari 11, Dadupur 5, Guhla and Masani Barrage 3 each, Chhachhrauli, Naraingarh and Rohtak 2 each and Julana and Nilokheri 1 each, Delhi: Ridge 2 and Safdarjung 1, Himachal Pradesh: Dharamsala, Kangra and Paonta 2 each and Berthin and Una 1 each, Punjab: Nangal 16, Balachaur 11, Samrala 9 and Nawanshahr 1 and Uttaranchal: Mukteshwar 5, Dehradun, Hardwar, Marora and Pantanagar 2 each and Uttarkashi 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 6: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region.
