Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Rajasthan, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Punjab, west Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was dry in Haryana. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Himachal Pradesh: Kandaghat 3, Bangana, Kangra and Khotkhai 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Batote, Jammu and Srinagar 1 each, East Rajasthan: Loharia 3, Baran, Chhapidam, Dholpur, and Nasirabad 2 each, Ajmer, Arthuna, Bhanwargarh colony, Danpur, Garhi, Jahazpur, Jagpura, Motijheel, Mokhampura, Nandbai, Roopwas, Umedsagar and Sajangarh 1 each and east Uttar Pradesh: Bansi 1;

Forecast valid until the morning of September 2: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in rest of the region.
