Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in west Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms. are: Haryana: Dadupur 10, Tajewala 6, Jagadhari, and Thanesar 3 each, and Ballabhgarh, Dadari Toya, Panipat and Sonepat 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Kahu 7, Sunibhajji 4, Dharamsala, Kangra, Kasol, Pandoh and Sundernagar 3 each, Berthin 2 and Nadaun and Sujanpurtira 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 5, Punjab: Adampur and Nangal 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 1: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Haryana, Punjab, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in west Rajasthan.
