Pak hospital attack toll 5
Islamabad, August 11
One of 26 persons injured in a grenade attack on a Christian hospital chapel in Pakistan died today, bringing the death toll to five, the leader of a minority welfare group said. Shabaz Bhatti, head of the All-Pakistani Minority Alliance, told a press conference that 28-year-old Christian nurse Parveen Nelson, a mother of three, succumbed to her shrapnel injuries.

Dengue kills 23
Dhaka, August 11
Military cadets, scouts and city councillors joined in today a campaign to stop the spread of dengue fever in Bangladesh's flood-hit capital, where 23 persons have died of the mosquito-borne disease since the start of July. At least seven persons died on Friday and Saturday here. About 1,500 have contracted the disease in the city since the beginning of July, according to the Directorate of Health.
