Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, a few places in east Uttar Pradesh and isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Ambala 1, Himachal Pradesh: Berthin and Pachhad 3 each, Shimla 2 and Pandoh and Sarkaghat 1 each, Punjab: Ropar 2, east Rajasthan: Chabra 13, Raipur 8, Manohar Thana 7, Bakani and Jhalarkatan 6 each, Chapidam and Magrol 5 each, Aklera 4, Asnawar, Nainwa, Rainbasera and Sumel 3 each, Banera, Cholidam, Chepa Badod, Chanda Ka Talab, Galwa, Jawahar Sagar, Kotri, Khanpur and Radidam 2 each, Bijolia, Bhilwara, Bharia, Devas, Gogunda, Hindoli, Indergarh, Jhadol, Rawat Bhata, Sarda, Sawanbhado, Tolada and Uadipur city 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Mirzapur 6, Mukhlispur 2, Elginbridge, Kanpur, Neemsar and Regoli 1 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Moradabad 1 and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi 10, Banbasa 7, Rudraprayag 5 and Pantnagar and Tehri 1 each.
