Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan, at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and west Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Ayanagar (Delhi) 3 and Naraingarh 1, Himachal Pradesh: Dharamsala 11, Bharwain 8, Bangana and Berthin 6 each, Ghamroor 5, Kahu 4, Pandoh and Sundernagar 3 each, Kasol and Una 2 each and Arki, Gohar, Nadaun, Rampurbushar and Shimla 1 each, Punjab: Nangal 3, Rajasthan: Bijolia 5, Ladpura 4, Jahazpur, Karoli, Kathumar and Mandalgarh 3 each, Ajmer, Burda, Churu, Kota A.P., Kotari and Todabhim 2 each and Atru, Digod and Sahapura 1 each, Uttar Pradesh: Kakardharighat 4, Shardanagar 3, Elginbridge 2 and Banda, Ballia, Kalpi, Katerniaghat and Regoli 1 each and Uttaranchal: Joshimath 5, Dehra Dun 4, Marora 3 and Banbasa 1.
