Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was dry in Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Kangra 1, Punjab: Adampur 2, Uttaranchal: Rudraprayag 2.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 9: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in Rajasthan.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of July 9: Mainly clear sky with possibility of thundery development in some areas.
