Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at many places in east Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Punjab and at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Chhachhrauli 5 and Jagadhari 1, Himachal Pradesh: Kasol and Pandoh 4 each, Berthin, Guler, Kahu and Sujanpurtira 3 each, Nagrota Surian and Shimla 2 each and Dehragopipur, Dharamsala, Ghamroor, Kangra and Sunibhajji 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 1, Punjab: Nangal 1, Uttar Pradesh: Turtipar 13, Bati 10, Kakardharighat 9, Mukhlispur 7, Ghazipur and Varanasi AP 4 each, Katerniaghat, Palliakalan and Shardanagar 3 each, Birdhat and Jaunpur 2 each and Balrampur, Chandradeepghat, Etawah, elginbridge, Hamirpur and Kakrahi 1 each and Uttaranchal: Hardwar 12, Marora 7, Pantnagar and Rudraprayag 5 each, Uttarkashi 4, Banbasa 3, Mukteshwar 2 and Dehra Dun 1.
