Chance to dip into ‘Sacred Waters’
Chandigarh, July 3
Some shows are structured for reasons other than commercial. The one that will open in the art gallery of Alliance Francaise at 5.45 pm tomorrow falls in that category. Bearing a strange title, Sacred Waters, the show is aimed at inspiring public awe by capturing water bodies in all their grandeur, and also serving a larger purpose.
Put together by an upcoming photo artiste Tarun Chopra, Sacred
Waters documents the beauty of water as also its indispensable
nature. Nurturing a love for photography, Tarun travelled to far
off places of the subcontinent, scratching the surface of earth in
search of that perfect picture which he often spotted in the
lavish water bodies.
