Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Uttaranchal, at many places in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and west Rajasthan and at isolated places in Haryana. Weather was mainly dry in west Uttar Pradesh. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Chandigarh 3, Haryana: Ambala each, himachal Pradesh: Dharamsala 4, Jahu and Nadaun 3 each, Ghamroor, Kasol and Sujanpurtira 2 each and Berthin and Solan 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Srinagar 1, Punjab: Adampur 2 and Amritsar 1, Rajasthan: Dhariyabad and Kherwara 3 each, Girva, Kanota, Kotra, Mount Abu, Nasirabad and Udaipur 2 each and Jhadol, Narayangarh and Todgarh 1 each, Uttar Pradesh: Ghazipur 5, Regoli 4, Turtipar 3, Balrampur, Birdghat, Basti, Ballia, Chandradeepghat, Katerniaghat and Palliakalan 2 each and Ayodhya, Bansi, Bahraich and Kakrahi 1 each and Uttaranchal: Haridwar and Uttarkashi 3 each and Almora, Banbasa, Mukteshwar and Pantnagar 1 each.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures fellappreciably in east Uttar Pradesh, fell in Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were appreciably below normal in east Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, above normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 43.7°C recorded at Bikaner (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of June 29: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, south Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rain is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and south Rajasthan during the next 48 hours.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 29: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain/thundershowers in some areas. Maximum temperature will be around 37°C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of June 29: Light to moderate rain is likely at a few places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
