Haryana, Punjab New Delhi, June 21 Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose appreciably in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, rose in west Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and changed a little elsewhere. Departures: They were above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 42.7°C recorded at Bikaner (Rajasthan). Forecast valid until the morning of June 23: Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttaranchal. Isolated duststorms or thunderstorms are likely in west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Isolated thundersqualls are also likely to occur in Haryana, Punjab and Uttaranchal.
