Ludhiana, June 13
While Punjab Technical University had announced that the results of the its Common Entrance Test conducted on June 2 would be declared today, thousands of students could not access these all day.
Students said they had been making repeated visits to cyber cafes since early today to check out the website www.ptujal.com, but the results had not been posted on it. When they contacted the university authorities on telephone, they were told that the results were still being posted on the website and they should retry after some time.
When contacted, Dr H.S. Gurm, Vice-Chancellor of the PTU, said the results were still being prepared and the students would be able to access these by tomorrow morning.
