Dalit woman pradhan murdered
Lucknow, June 9
A Dalit pradhan, Ms Lalita Choudhary, in Faizabad district of Uttar Pradesh was killed when a group of armed people attacked her at Hisamuddinpur on Friday, the police said. Ms Choudhury’s husband was also injured critically in the attack. According to SP (rural) of Faizabad Mata Prasad, the pradhan and her family were attacked following a dispute over her election. UNI
