Students have been agitating for the past five days in the college as the dates of second professional examinations have already been announced. The college had got affiliation with Punjab University, but as soon as the notification of affiliating all medical colleges with Baba Farid University of Medical Sciences, Faridkot, was issued, the college was affiliated with it.

The institution has not been granted affiliation by the university. Dr P.S. Sandhu, Registrar, Baba Farid University, when contacted, said the case was pending with the Supreme Court.

The students have been complaining that they had already spent lakhs of rupees as the fees and the college management was still demanding more money from them.
