Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and east Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose markedly in Haryana and Punjab, rose appreciably in Himachal Pradesh, rose in west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were appreciably below normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 44°C recorded at Bikaner (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of June 7: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Duststorms/ thunderstorms are likely at isolated places in Rajasthan.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 7: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain/thundershowers in some areas. Maximum temperature will be around 37°C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of June 7: Light to moderate rain is likely at a few places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
