Sardar Sarovar dam height issue
New Delhi, June 3
The Supreme Court today adjourned till Wednesday hearing on a public interest litigation seeking direction to the Narmada Control Authority not to raise the height of the Sardar Sarovar Dam upto 95 metres without rehabilitation of the oustees. The hearing on the petition by the Narmada Bachao Andolan was adjourned by a vacation Bench comprising Mr Justice Santosh Hegde and Mr Justice S.N. Variava. UNI
