Rainfall: Light rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Haryana. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures fell in Punjab and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan, above normal in Punjab, below normal in east Uttar Pradesh and normal in rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region, 46.8°C, was recorded at Hisar (Haryana).

Forecast valid until the morning of May 16: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Punjab and Uttaranchal. Duststorms or thunderstorms are likely at isolated places in Haryana, north Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in south Rajasthan.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of May 16: Hot day. Mainly clear sky with possibility of duststorm/thunderstorm in some areas. Maximum temperature will be around 44°C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of May 16: Duststorm/thunderstorm with light rain is likely at a few places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
