15 family courts to be set up in Delhi

The Centre has sanctioned 15 posts of judges along with 202 ancillary posts of various categories for the setting up of 15 family courts in Delhi. These would be located in different areas in the Capital including the Parliament Street, Kirpa Narain Marg, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg, Saket, Janakpuri Institutional Area, Shahdara, and Dheerpur.

Delhi Traffic Police launch SMS

The Commissioner of Delhi Police, Mr Ajai Raj Sharma, today inaugurated Short Message Service (SMS) launched by the traffic police to facilitate the force and residents of the Capital for different kinds of traffic-related messages.
The SMS will provide information about traffic diversions, processions and traffic problems in the city.

Rs 1.05 cr paid in power dues

The total recovery of the pending power bills in the rural areas of the district, under the ongoing ‘waiver’ scheme, had touched Rs 1.05 crore till yesterday. Only three days are left for the scheme to lapse and the power department hopes to recover another Rs 8 crore.
