MiG-21 crashes
Jaipur, April 4
An Indian Air Force MiG-21 crashed at Rajasthan’s Jodhpur district today, a senior police official said here. The fighter plane was on a routine exercise when it crashed at Jhelu-Gagari village this noon, the official said here. The pilot bailed out safely, he said. The district authorities and IAF personnel have rushed to the crash site, he added. PTI

Cop, undertrial shot
Barh (Bihar), April 4
A police personnel and an undertrial in Barh Subdivisional Jail were shot dead by some unidentified miscreants here today. Deputy Police Superintendent (DSP) of Barh Court Shaiffur Rahman said a group of criminals opened fire on the vehicle carrying undertrial Ranju Singh back to the jail after he was produced in court, injuring him and police official Ganesh Kumar Yadav.
