10 Maoists killed in Nepal
Kathmandu, April 3
At least 10 Maoists have been killed by the security forces in various parts of Nepal during the past 24 hours, the Defence Ministry said today. At least six ultras were gunned down in Rolpa, including a commander and a woman, two in Nawalparasi, one each in Tanahun and Rukum, respectively. UNI

Storm kills 11
Kolkata, April 3
At least 11 persons were killed and several injured when a norwester today lashed parts of West Bengal and Bihar uprooting trees, flattening houses and disrupting communication. In West Bengal nine persons were killed while two died in Bihar’s Bhagalpur district when the norwester raged from 3.00 a.m. till late this morning. PTI
