New Delhi, March 14 Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose appreciably in east Uttar Pradesh, rose in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and east Rajasthasn and changed a little elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, below normal in west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 34.°4C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan). Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in west Rajasthan, rose in Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh and changed a little elsewhere. The lowest temperature in the plains was 10°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab), Pilani (Rajasthan) and Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).
