Live workshop for surgeons at PGIMS
Our Correspondent

Rohtak, March 14
The Association of Surgeons of Haryana proposes to hold its eighth annual conference and a live workshop on April 6 and 7 at the Pt B. D. Sharma Post- Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) here. The live workshop on April 7 would be the first of its kind at the Department of Surgery, PGIMS. The department is well known for its pioneering work in stapler technology. In order to train surgeons practising outside PGIMS, a ‘hands-on workshop’ on stapler use has also been planned during the conference.

A large number of delegates not only from Haryana but also from the adjoining states are likely to participate in the proposed conference. After the scientific deliberations and live workshop, a special session on ‘Tricks of the Trade’ has been convened where experts will explain the intricacies and tricks involved in operations, especially those that need exceptional skills.
