Departures: They were markedly below normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 24.6c recorded at Jhalawar (Rajasthan). Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperature fell appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir, rose appreciably in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, rose in Haryana and east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departures: It was appreciably above normal in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, above normal in west Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in Himachal Pradesh.
