Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Light rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. Batote (Jammu and Kashmir) recorded 1 cm of rainfall.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell appreciably in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, fell in Punjab, rose in west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were below normal in Punjab and Uttaranchal, above normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 6.0°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 28: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and north Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 28: Partly cloudly sky with possibility of thundery development in some areas. Minimum temperature will be around 12°C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of February 28: Development of thunderclouds is likely at a few places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
