Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, fell in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were markedly above normal in Haryana and west Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Punjab, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 11.0°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).
