Storm kills three in Uttar pradesh
Lucknow, January 20
Three persons, including two women, were killed and several houses damaged in a devastating storm in Mirzapur and Sant Ravidas Nagar districts of Uttar Pradesh this morning. The DIG (Mirzapur Range), Mr Gurudarshan Singh, said Susheela and Bhulhari, hailing from Bhajai Rampur village, died in Sant Ravidas Nagar, while a labourer was killed in Chail in Mirzapur. UNI

Bihar poll: 1 killed
Patna, January 20
One person was killed and a candidate injured in poll violence, as 60 per cent voters exercised their franchise to elect 1,778 representatives to different tiers of the Panchayati Raj in Bihar today. UNI

INSAT-3C launch
