Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. Pahalgam (Jammu and Kashmir) recorded 2 cm of precipitation. Snowfall report (cm) — Himachal Pradesh: Patsio 22 and Dhundi 6; and Jammu and Kashmir: Mop 65, Ragani 54, Pharkian 47, Kanzal Wan 34, Stag 29, Putakhan 27, Zamidarkhan Gali 23, Pathab 16, Sonapindi 14, Gulmarg 12 and Dimbat L.C. 10.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir, rose in Haryana,Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.

Forecast valid until the morning of January 15: Rain or snow will occur at most places in Jammu and Kashmir, at many places in Himachal Pradesh and at a few places in Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Punjab and at isolated places in Haryana and north Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
