No move to scrap DD News: Sushma
Indore, January 13
Information and Broadcasting Minister Sushma Swaraj today denied any move to scrap DD News channel, saying the channel would be reconstituted and renamed DD Bharti. The new channel would have three sections each of eight hours duration, she told reporters here. The minister said DD-I had maximum viewership in the country and nearly 70 million households had access to it. An hourly news bulletin was shortly going to be started on DD-I, she added. UNI
