Another MiG crashes, woman killed
Hoshiarpur, September 26
A MiG-21 of the Air Force crashed in a choe near Raghowal Saharna (Gajipur Bhatoli) in Dasuya sub- division at about 5 p.m. today. According to police sources, the MiG hit some houses in the village, killing Kamaljit Kaur (45) and injuring her son Sonu. Six others who were injured have been identified as Mona Devi, Gurmeet Kaur, Beenu, Jyoti, Arvinder Kaur and Chajju Ram. OC

Dilip Kumar hospitalised
Mumbai, September 26
Film thespian and MP Dilip Kumar was today hospitalised for suspected kidney problem, family sources said. The actor, who was on a holiday to the nearby hill station of Lonavala, was rushed to Leelavati Hospital at Bandra here after he complained of uneasiness. Hospital sources said the actor had been kept under 24-hours observation and refused to divulge further details about his condition. PTI
