Table tennis meet begins today

Ludhiana, September 19
More than 100 paddlers have confirmed their participation in the Ludhiana District Table Tennis Championship to be organised by the Ludhiana District Table Tennis Association (LDTTA). The championship begins at Shastri Hall of Guru Nanak Stadium here tomorrow, according to Mr Fang Jenn Chiu, general secretary, LDTTA.

The competitions in different age groups will be conducted during the three-day championships. The matches will start at 9 in the morning.

The players for the Punjab State Inter-District Table Tennis Championship scheduled to be held at Ludhiana in October will be selected on the basis of their performance in this meet.

Mr Nirmaljeet Singh Kalsi, President, Punjab State Table Tennis Association, will give away prizes to the winners on September 22.Back
