Monsoon has been active in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have been reported at most places in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, at a few places in Haryana and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Naraingarh 2 and Panipat and Thanesar 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Bangana, Ghumarwin, Ghamroor, Kahu, Nadaun, Sujanpur Tira and Una 3 each, Arki, Bharwain, Berthin, Barsar, Dehragopipur, Dharampur, Guler, Gohar, Kasol, and Nagrotasurian 2 each and Baijnath, Kangra, Kasauli, Shimla, Sundernagar and Sarkaghat 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Banihal and Baotte 2 each and Jammu, Katra and Srinagar 1 each, Punjab: Gurdaspur 5, Anandpur Sahib, Balachaur and Nangal 3 each, Adampur, Batala, Dasuya, Nakodar and Patiala 2 each and Amritsar, Halwara and Ludhiana 1 each, west Rajasthan: Jodhpur 2, Uttar Pradesh: Ghazipur 5 and west Uttar Pradesh: Agra 1.
