Four burnt alive in Bhojpur
Ara (Bihar), September 9
Four members of a family were burnt alive allegedly by a relative at Dawna village in Bihar’s Bhojpur district, the police said today. Sanjay Shah allegedly sprinkled kerosene oil on a thatched roof and set it on fire late last night, in which his brother Santosh (22), sister-in-law Bebi Devi (20), nephew Golu (2) and stepbrother Kundan suffered burns and died on their way to a hospital, it said. Death in curry
Coimbatore, September 9
A three-year-old boy, who fell accidentally into boiling mutton curry at a temple festival near here two days ago, died in the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital this morning, the police said. The boy’s parents had taken him to a festival in a temple near Somanur. PTI
