Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. The weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfalll in cm. are: Himachal Pradesh: Guler and Nagrotasurian 4 each, Ghamroor 3, Kahu and Kasol 2 each and Kangra, Nadaun and Paonta 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Kathua 2, Punjab: Nangal 2, East Rajasthan: Bharatpur 2, East Uttar Pradesh: Turtipar 3, Fatehgarh 2 and Ayodhya 1 and West Uttar Pradesh: Agra 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of 28th August: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab, east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. The weather will be mainly dry in west Rajasthan.
