Monsoon has been active in Himachal Pradesh.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm. Himachal Pradesh: Bharwain 10, Nagrotasurian 9, Bangana 7, Amb, Dehragopipur and Ghamroor 6 each, Berthin and Guler 3 each, Kasol, Rajgarh and Una 2 each and Kangra, Kasauli and Nadaun 1 each, Punjab: Nangal 7, and Anandpur Sahib 3, east Uttar Pradesh: Fatehgarh 3, Allahabad, Kanpur, Kalpi and Varanasi city 2 each and Basti and Mukhlispur 1 each and Uttaranchal: Joshimath and Pantnagar 3 each and Banbasa and Dehradun 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 22: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and east Rajasthan and at isolated places in west Rajasthan.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of August 22: Partly cloudy sky. Thundery development likely in some areas.
