The monsoon has been active in east Rajasthan.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Rajasthan, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in Jammu and Kashmir. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Narwana 5, Bhiwani and Uchana 3 each, Chhachhrauli, Jind and Jagadhri 2 each and Gohana, Naraingarh and Rohtak 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Baijnath and Jogindernagar 5 each Nahan and Paonta 3 each, Pandoh 2 and Bharwain, Kosli and Kangra 1 each, Punjab: Nakodar 3 and Nangal and Patiala 2 each, East Rajasthan: Mount Abu 7, Banswara 5, Pilani 4, Kota AP 2 and Jaipur and Udaipur 1 each, East Uttar Pradesh: Chandradeepghat and Kalpi 3 each, Bansi and Kanpur 2 each and Elginbridge, Fatehgarh, Katerniaghat, Lucknow, Mirzapur and Palliakalan 1 each Uttaranchal: Bausan 4 and Pantnagar 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 19: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and at a few places in the rest of the region.
