Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms. are: Haryana: Hissar 11 and Tohana 10, Himachal Pradesh: Gohar, Kothkhai and Sundernagar 2 each and Dehragopipur and Rampur Bushar 1 each, Punjab: Amritsar 1, East Rajasthan: Ajmer 2, west Rajasthan: Jodhpur and Jaisalmer 2 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Bahraich 1 and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi 12 and Joshimath 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of 13th August: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in south Rajasthan, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, north Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
