The Punjab Government has removed the condition of a minimum percentage of 40 for Scheduled Castes students in the entrance test for admission to the MBBS, BDS and BAMS courses during the 2001 session . Mr Sarwan Singh Phillaur, Welfare Minister, said this condition, imposed by the Medical Education and Research Department, stood withdrawn. TNS
