Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Ambala and Gohana 5 each, Nilokheri 4, Panipat 3, Rohtak 2 and Jagadhari, Narwana and Thanesar 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Sundernagar 5, Kotkhai 3, Jubbal and Shimla 2 each and Rampur Bushar 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Banihal 1, Punjab: Halwara 1, East Rajasthan: Banswara 3, Hindoli 2 and Fatehpur, Kota, Laxmangarh and Udaipur AP 1 each, West Rajasthan: Ratangarh 3 and Churu 1, East Uttar Pradesh: Gorakhpur and Hanumansetu 2 each and Birdghat 1, west Uttar Pradesh: Hindon and Sarsawa 2 each and Uttaranchal: Dehra Dun 3.
