The chief amount of rainfall in cms. are: Haryana: Thanesar 11, Punjab: Amritsar 2, East Uttar Pradesh: Khadda 15, Regoli 7, Ballia 2 and Katerniaghat, Kakrahi and Turtipar 1 each and Uttaranchal: Dehra Dun 2.
