Monsoon has been active in Rajasthan.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Rajasthan, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are — Haryana: Tohana 5; Himachal Pradesh: Bhuntar 7, Jubbal 4 and Kangra, Kotkhai, Shimla and Sunibhaji 1 each; Jammu and Kashmir: Kupwara 1; Punjab: Halwara, Nakodar and Zira 2 each and Amritsar and Patti 1 each; Rajasthan: Kota 6, Barmer 4, Sriganganagar and Udaipur 3 each, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer 2 each and Ajmer 1; Uttar Pradesh: Sultanpur 3, Basti 2 and Etawah and Lucknow (control room) 1 each; and Uttaranchal: Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi 3 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 11: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in south Rajasthan and at a few places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rain is likely at isolated places in south Rajasthan during the next 48 hours.
