Monsoon has been active in Himachal Pradesh and east Uttar Pradesh.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most of the places in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at many places in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, at a few places in east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Punjab and west Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in Jammu and Kashmir. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Ayanagar (Delhi) — 4, Guhla, Kaithal and New Delhi (Palam) — 2 each, and Ambala, Chandigarh, Narwana and New Delhi (Safdarjung) — 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Jogindernagar, Kahu and Kassol — 5 each, Dharampur and Shimla — 4 each, Pandoh, Paonta, Sunibhaji and Sangrah — 2 each, and Barsar, Bhuntar, Bharwain, Jhandutta, Kasauli, Kasngra, Kalpa and Sundernagar — 1 each, Punjab: Patiala — 2, Rajasthan: Bharatpur — 3 and Kota — 1, Uttar Pradesh: Gorakhpur — 5, Bareilly and Sultanpur — 4 each, and Uttaranchal: Pantnagar — 4.

Forecast valid until the morning of June 27: Rain or thundershowers will occur at most places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at many places in Haryana and east Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in west Rajasthan.
