Gastroenteritis, which struck at the
brick-kiln, 17 km from here, has claimed two lives while six migrant
labourers, who had been suffering from vomiting and diarrhoea, have been

security in a sessions court here with an eyewitness identifying two persons
as having allegedly committed the crime.

Bathinda, June 18
The alleged illicit relations of his wife with the husband of
her sister forced a resident of the city to allegedly murder his
wife and his two kids late last night. Raj Kumar Sharma
(40), who was working as a medical representative, allegedly
strangled his wife Vandana (35) late last night after beating
her and giving her poison. He also killed his two kids, Deepali
(7) and Garish (5). Police sources said the deceased had a
quarrel last night with his wife over some matter.
