Shoot-at-sight order in Bihar
Patna, May 10
Shoot-at-sight order has been issued at 1,197 polling booths in 17 districts of Bihar where repoll to the panchayat elections will be held tomorrow, the police said today. State Election Commissioner M.L. Majumdar told UNI here that elaborate security arrangements had been made for the repoll in various districts. UNI

Bangladesh invites India for border talks
Dhaka, May 10
Responding to India’s offer to hold border talks, Bangladesh today formally invited New Delhi to Dhaka for the purpose from May 26 to 30. A note extending the invitation was handed over here to Indian High Commissioner M.L.Tripathi by the Bangladesh Government, sources said. PTI
